A Temple of Connosiur's Delight
Muriamangalam Sri NaraSimha Swami Temple, is situated in Eranakulam district (along side the Kochi-Madurai National Highway) nearby Thiruvamkulam – Tripunithura. This is one among the rare Narasimha Swami temples in Kerala, where the ritual of ‘Aayirakudam’ Abhishekam is performed.
It is believed that people who come here, with strong faith and devotion towards the Lord, are granted with the fulfilment of their desires. There have been many instances in the past to prove the fact. Solely because of this, the number of devotees, visiting the temple is increasing

The temple administration was earlier done by the native Namboodiris. With the land reform acts the temple resources were undertaken by governement and distributed among tenants. In the due course of time the Namboodiris were unable to successfully run the administration. So the administration was handed over to ‘Kerala Kshetra Samrakshana Samiti’ in 1995. Now a ‘Shakasamithi’ has been developed(Reg. no: 1737), the native devotees are taking care of the administration well.
Under ‘Kerala Kshetra Samrakshana Samiti’ various sub divisions like ‘Bharana Samiti’, ‘Kshetrajeernodharana Samiti’, ‘Matru Samiti’, ‘Paurnami Sanghadana’, ‘Baalagokulam’, Music Classes, ‘Mela’ classes take care of respective duties. Earlier, during the festival in Sri Chottanikkara Bhagavati Temple, ‘AAraatu’ was performed from Sri NaraSimha Swami temple. After ‘Devaswom Board’ has taken the administration of the Bhagavati temple, it is not so.
